Individual Therapy for Maidstone

A Private Space, Close to Home

If you’re looking for individual therapy in Maidstone, you’re not alone. Anxiety, low mood, and the quiet weight of unprocessed stress are some of the most common reasons people first reach out for support.

Individual therapy offers a private, one-to-one space to work through what’s genuinely on your mind. Sessions are available in person, a short drive from Maidstone at the Kings Hill practice, or online for clients who’d rather not make the journey.

OUR APPROACH

Our Approach to Individual Therapy for Maidstone

Every person’s reasons for seeking therapy are different, and so is the right way to work through them. Our approach is integrative, drawing on:

1

Person-Centred Therapy

A non-directive approach built on empathy, unconditional positive regard, and trust in your own capacity for growth.

2

Psychodynamic Therapy

Exploring how past experiences and unconscious patterns shape present thoughts and behaviour.

3

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety or distress.

4

Attachment Theory

Understanding how early relationships shape how you relate to yourself and others now.

5

Transactional Analysis

Examining recurring patterns in how you interact with others.

Sessions are led by what you actually need: some clients want a structured, goal-oriented approach; others want an open space to think and process at their own pace — the approach adapts to you, not a fixed programme.
