COSRT-Registered · Serving Maidstone
Confidential couples counselling and relationship therapy for Maidstone couples — combined with specialist psychosexual training most local counsellors don’t offer.
Couple Therapy for Maidstone
If you and your partner are stuck in the same argument on repeat, drifting apart, or working through the aftermath of infidelity, you’re dealing with something a lot of Maidstone couples reach out about — communication breakdown, trust issues, commitment fears, and a creeping sense of insecurity in the relationship are among the most common reasons people first get in touch.
Couple therapy gives you a structured, supported space to work through it together, rather than having the same conversation on repeat at home. Sessions are available in person, a short drive from Maidstone at the Kings Hill practice, or online for couples who’d rather fit therapy around a full week.
Maidstone has a number of experienced relationship counsellors — what’s less common locally is training in both relationship therapy and psychosexual therapy. Many counsellors work well with communication and conflict but refer sexual or intimacy concerns elsewhere; here, that work can happen with the same therapist, in the same room, when it’s relevant to what you’re facing.
OUR APPROACH
Every person’s reasons for seeking therapy are different, and so is the right way to work through them. Our approach is integrative, drawing on:
Understanding how early relationships shape how you connect now.
Focusing on your relationship's unique perspective, not a generic template.
Identifying and shifting unhelpful communication patterns.
Exploring patterns shaping present relationship dynamics.
Addressing intimacy and sexual concerns directly, rather than as separate.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No — the practice is based in Kings Hill, West Malling, a short drive from Maidstone. Online sessions are available if you’d rather not make the journey.
No. Couple therapy is available to any couple in a committed relationship, married or not.
It’s common for one partner to feel more hesitant. A complimentary intro call can help address concerns before committing to full sessions.
The core difference is dual training — relationship therapy combined with COSRT-registered psychosexual therapy, so intimacy-related concerns don’t need a separate referral elsewhere.
This varies by couple — an initial assessment session helps map out a realistic plan together.
Yes, entirely. Nothing discussed in session is shared with anyone else, including your GP.
Book a complimentary 10-minute intro call — no pressure, just a chance to talk through what’s bringing you to therapy and see if it’s the right fit.
