Welcome to my website, a safe, supportive and compassionate space for you to understand and explore your thoughts and feelings and discuss any issue that comes across your mind.
Let me tell you a little about myself, I am a fully qualified ‘Integrative Psychosexual and Relationship therapist’ providing therapy to individuals and couples. I hold a certificate in ‘Counselling and Psychotherapy’ and a Diploma in ‘Psychosexual and Relationship therapy’. My training is accredited by Middlesex University in London and I’m a registered member of COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists).
I believe that everybody’s situation is unique. Whether you are in a couple or you are seeking therapy on your own. I will use the relevant tools and methods based on your individual needs. I will support you to overcome any issues and help you achieve the goals you have set. Whether that is to enrich your relationship or to find a way to separate as amicably as possible.I will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental and warm space. We will work together, for as long as you need. With the security of knowing that everything we discuss is treated with genuine respect and in confidence. My aim is to build rapport as quickly as possible, so hopefully you find it easier to open up and disclose the intimate aspects of your life. I understand that you are the expert of your life whilst I am the facilitator to hold and support you whilst you explore and navigate your way through your challenges.
My approach is ‘integrative’. This means I use different approaches, theories and tools that suit each person or couples needs. I use the ‘Person-Centered Approach’ when I feel you need to lead the way, which provides you with empathetic, non-judgmental space with unconditional positive regard. The use of ‘Attachment Theory’ is beneficial in helping to build a stronger bond between partners, by looking back at the impact of childhood on current relationships. I may incorporate ‘Cognitive Behavioural Therapy’ (CBT) which helps individuals develop alternative ways of thinking and behaving that might be causing psychological distress. CBT helps to change negative thoughts or beliefs into more positive/rational ones.Through the use of different communication tools and techniques, I will help your find a way to communicate more effectively. Whilst ensuring you both feel heard and understood correctly. I may also use some psychosexual exercises and methods, to support my work, for any areas of sexual dysfunction a couple might be experiencing.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues. Including (but not limited to) infidelity, communication issues and sexual anxiety. Such as low sexual desire, arousal difficulties, orgasmic issues, erectile dysfunction, premature or delayed ejaculation. My work has also involved dealing with problems such as vaginal pain, domestic violence, pregnancy and infertility, cultural diversity and its impact on the couple. Also, anxiety, anger and depression and the impact this can have on a relationship. I hold full professional insurance.
